AFchamber HR and Tax, Legal Committees held a joint event
On May 11, 2022, AFchamber and HR and Tax, Legal Committees held a joint event on the topics of “Remote work and Recent changes to the Administrative Offenses Code re-employment” with Huseyn Aliyev, Legal manager at Ekvita as guest speaker. The event started with the opening speech of Samira Najafova, Chair at HR, and Labor Regulation Committee of the AFchamber.
The purpose of the event was to identify and discuss about remote work during and after the Covid-19 pandemic and the possibilities that this alternative working condition brings to business environment.
Huseyn Aliyev, Legal manager at Ekvita, talked about the advantages and disadvantages of remote work for both employers and employees and how remote work is becoming permanent for business in Azerbaijan. Moreover, it was discussed how working conditions are regulated by the labor code and penalties in case of the labor code violation.
Specialists from our member companies and other public and international companies actively participated in the event.
