We’re excited to announce that AFchamber became a member of the UN Global Compact in Azerbaijan.
The United Nations Global Compact is the world’s largest corporate sustainability initiative that mobilizes companies to align their strategies and operations with ten universally accepted principles on human rights, labour, environment and anti-corruption to advance Sustainable Development Goals headquartered in New York City with local initiatives in over 75 countries through Country Managers and independent Local Networks.
Throughout our partnership, the AFchamber ESG Committee and UN Global Compact in Azerbaijan jointly with partners organized the event “Corporate Sustainability: Good for Businesses” and provided Training sessions on Corporate Sustainability.
AFchamber ESG Committee provides a platform for better communication and promotes dialogue between business communities and government on the biggest and most complex issues of the modern world in terms of three key factors: environmental, social and governance.
