AFchamber Launched “Young Writers” Social Project in Partnership with PASHA Bank and Teach For Azerbaijan

Sharing is caring!

On August 1, 2025, AFchamber, in partnership with PASHA Bank’s employees and Teach
For Azerbaijan
, launched the “Young Writers” social project – a creative initiative designed
to empower children from vulnerable communities through storytelling and self-
expression.
This impactful initiative engages children from Temiz Dunya shelter, by offering a safe and
supportive space to share their thoughts and emotions through creative writing. Originally
started as a storytelling workshop, Young Writers has developed into a comprehensive
creative therapy and publishing program.
A total of 30 children currently residing in the shelter are participating in the project. The
Young Writers program consists of two months of workshops and seminars, followed by
one month dedicated to book production.
The project includes:
– Writing workshops and fairytale therapy sessions
– Emotional intelligence and art therapy activities
– Professional editing, translation, illustration, and publishing of the children’s stories

The final collection of uplifting stories will be published in a beautifully designed book and
distributed to kindergartens in rural areas, inspiring children across the country.
AFchamber extends its sincere gratitude to PASHA Bank employees for supporting this
meaningful social initiative, and to Teach For Azerbaijan for their dedication in organizing
and delivering the program.
