CCIAF cooperation with the Baku State Industry and Innovation Vocational Education Centre (BSIIVEC)
CCIAF promotes and supports communication and cooperation between public and private sectors and tries to offer the Chamber as a platform for a dialogue between the member companies and state bodies. The CCIAF arranged business meetings with the Minister of Economy, Education, Labor and Social Protection of Population, Chair of the State Customs Committee, and organized various events with the state agencies such as the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (SMBDA), Azerbaijan Tourism Board, and etc.
The Chamber has fruitful cooperation with the Baku State Industry and Innovation Vocational Education Centre BSIIVEC as well. BSIIVEC signed Memorandums of Understanding with three CCIAF member companies – “Sigma Technical Services” LLC, Suez Groupe, and “Alstom Transport Azerbaijan” LLC. The MoU aimed to strengthen collaboration between the BSIIVEC and three big industry-based companies, to deepen Public-Private Partnership.
As a result of this cooperation, the representatives of the CCIAF member companies actively participated in the academic activities and provide their feedback on professions that the BSIIVEC is cultivating within the center. During the admission process prior to the 2020-2021 academic year, companies’ representatives involved as interview committee members. In addition, they participated in the webinars and provided detailed information to alumni about career opportunities within their companies.
CCIAF and BSIIVEC continue to expand this network and the scope of cooperation. BSIIVEC held a meeting with the North-West Construction and continues a discussion on organizing introductory meetings with the CCIAF member companies.
