On 22 June 22, AFchamber HR, Labor Regulation, and Women Professional Committees started their series of joint events with the first topic on “Wellbeing” with the participation of Samira Shabanova, HR Associate Director at EY, as a guest speaker.

The event was opened with Samira Shabanova’s presentation. She shared her experience with the audience, emphasizing how important the wellbeing of employees is. She talked about how significant it is to separate work and personal life, to devote time to physical activity, and the importance of having corporate policies on wellbeing in companies that influence the quality of tasks performed by employees. Samira Shabanova also noted that it is also necessary to pay attention to the psychological state of employees, show them due attention and be able to interest and inspire further work in the company – a healthy environment should be created where none of the employees will feel superfluous, but feel the importance of their contribution.

“The Golden Rule says: “Treat people as you want to be treated”. But the Platinum Rule says: “Treat people as they want to be treated”. The second rule is true because we must pay attention to the preferences and characters of employees, and people, as you know, are different, everyone needs their own approach. What is easy and simple for us will not be so for another”,explained Samira Shabanova.

The presentation ended with the speaker addressing the listeners with a request to share their opinions and experiences on the topic of Wellbeing.
