On 28 April, our valued member company Epicurus Group organized the Gastronomic Talk: L’Essence de Champagne by Eric Arnaud, Maître Sommelier and Advisor of Epicurus Group, at CASA Baku. The lecture brought together CASA Baku students and local wine professionals for an immersive exploration of wine and Champagne culture.
The workshop started with opening remarks from Ms. Daria Giovanacci, Director of Epicurus Group, and Mr. Kelvin Chong, Director of CÁSÁ.

Éric Arnaud is a highly respected French sommelier with over 35 years of experience in the world of wine. Holding the prestigious title of Maître Sommelier since 2003 and recognized as a Maître Restaurateur, he embodies excellence in both oenology and gastronomy.
During the workshop, Éric Arnaud shared his personal journey through the Champagne region, delving into its terroirs, traditions, and the subtle art of tasting. His storytelling, coupled with expert commentary, offered attendees an enriching perspective on what makes Champagne a symbol of refinement and celebration.
