AFchamber organized an exclusive trip to Savalan Valley & Wine Degustation Tour.

AFchamber organized an exclusive trip to Savalan Valley on February 9, offering an immersive experience in Azerbaijan’s renowned winemaking region. Board members, and representatives of member companies, took part in the journey.
Savalan Valley, known for its ideal climate and fertile soil, played a key role in Azerbaijan’s wine production. Surrounded by the Greater Caucasus Mountains and the Turyanchay River, the valley provided the perfect setting for high-quality grape cultivation.
During the trip, participants explored the winery’s production facilities, including the wine and brandy cellars and vineyards. They also visited the newly opened wine museum and the Guinness World Record-holding barrel. Aygun Atayeva shared fascinating insights into Azerbaijan’s winemaking history, showcasing the craftsmanship that went into every bottle.
The tour wrapped up with a tasting session featuring eight distinct wines, perfectly paired with a specially curated menu. Savalan ASPI cultivated over 22 grape varieties, including six prestigious Noble Grapes: Chardonnay, Riesling, Sauvignon Blanc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Noir, and Merlot. The handpicked and carefully sorted grapes guaranteed top-tier quality.
We are sincerely grateful to all our guests for joining us and to Savalan ASPI Winery for their warm hospitality and dedication to preserving Azerbaijan’s rich winemaking heritage.
