On June 25, AFchamber member company Alstom held a Ceremony certifying the first graduation of 14 students from the ALSTOM Education Center at Azerbaijan Technical University.
The ceremony started with opening remarks and speeches from Elshan Zeynalov, Country Managing Director at ALSTOM , as well as Vilayet Valiyev, Rector of Azerbaijan Technical University, Madame Anne Boillon, French Ambassador to Azerbaijan, Jeyhun Naghiyev, Chief Human Resources Officer of Azerbaijan Railways, and Nargiz Ismayilova, Deputy Chair of the Education Development Fund.
The student cohort completed over 140 hours of courses developed by ALSTOM University ranging from soft skills improvement to technical courses, showcasing our commitment to supporting young specialists and fostering partnerships with universities.
Fourteen students who successfully completed the program were awarded certificates and two students with the highest results – Shafiga Salayeva and Khanim Dashdiyeva won a well-deserved one-month internship at ALSTOM, marking a significant milestone in their educational and professional development.
